Leave one listing unfinished overnight
There is a kind of listing that goes live at midnight because you want the day to be over. The title is almost right. The crop is almost kind. You hit publish so you can sleep. In the morning it looks like someone else wrote it.
I leave one draft overnight on purpose. Not to torture myself — to let the piece speak when I am not pushing it. The next day I usually shorten the title, remove a prop, or raise the price by the amount I was apologizing for.
Speed is useful when you are shipping. Speed is expensive when you are describing. One night of waiting costs less than a week of explaining a listing that never felt true.
If you sell on Doshe, treat publish like a door you open in daylight. The buyer will meet whatever mood you were in when you wrote it. Make sure that mood was rested.
