Pack it like you will open it yourself

Doshe Journal

Shipping is where many handmade shops quietly undo the listing. The photo was careful. The title was kind. Then the box arrives with a plastic knot and a hope that nothing broke.

I pack as if I will be the one cutting the tape — one layer of protection that fits the object, a note that sounds like me, no confetti that becomes trash in someone else's kitchen. Care is visible in restraint.

If a piece needs special handling, say so before checkout and again in the parcel. Surprises belong in the craft, not in a cracked rim. A calm unboxing is part of what people pay for.

On Doshe, reviews often mention the box before the glaze. That is not vanity. That is the last handshake. Pack like the work still matters after you let go.
